Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Wuyud: the website at wuyud.com and the board app at board.wuyud.com. We've tried to keep them short and readable. Please read them before you use the service.

1. Who we are

Wuyud is operated by Jakub Bareš, Prague, Czech Republic ("Wuyud", "we", "us"). You can reach us at jakub@metamatics.ventures.

2. Accepting these terms

By opening a board or otherwise using Wuyud you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Wuyud on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you're authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Wuyud.

3. The service

Wuyud is a collaborative whiteboard with a built-in AI agent. You can put stickies, cards, frames and other elements on a board, arrange them into views and versions, connect sources of content, and ask the agent to research, rearrange, summarise or generate material. During meetings, background tasks can read a live transcript and add to the board.

We're improving Wuyud all the time, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove something you rely on, we'll try to give you reasonable notice.

4. Your account

You're responsible for your login details (including any board password) and for everything that happens under your account. Keep them confidential and tell us straight away if you think someone else has gained access.

5. Your content

"Your content" means everything you or your collaborators put into Wuyud: boards, notes, uploaded files, prompts, meeting transcripts and material pulled in from connected sources. It also includes what the AI generates for you.

• You own it. We claim no ownership of your content.
• You give us permission to run the service with it. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content, but only to provide, secure and support Wuyud for you. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for backups that expire on their normal schedule.
• We don't train AI models on it. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
• You have the rights to it. You confirm that you're allowed to upload or connect your content, and that doing so doesn't break anyone else's rights or any law. This includes getting consent where the law requires it before you record or transcribe a meeting.

Anyone who can open a board can see its content. You decide who that is.

6. AI features

Wuyud uses third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to power the agent and meeting tasks. Please keep in mind:

• AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it cites a source. Check anything important before you rely on it, particularly for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions.
• The agent acts on the board for you: it creates views, moves elements and adds items. Views and versions let you go back to an earlier state, but you're still responsible for how you use the result.
• When you ask for web research, the agent visits public websites and saves what it finds to your board. Third-party content stays subject to its owners' rights.
• You may not use the AI features to generate unlawful content or to get around the usage policies of the underlying model providers.

7. Connected sources

You can connect external services to a board, such as Holotext, custom MCP servers, uploaded files and live meetings. When you connect one, you tell Wuyud to read content from it for that board. Those services are run by other people and have their own terms. We aren't responsible for them, for their availability, or for what they send us. You can disconnect a source or turn it off at any time.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Wuyud to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• upload malware, or probe, scan, overload or attack the service or its infrastructure;
• access boards, accounts or data you aren't authorised to access;
• harass, threaten, defraud or deceive others, or create sexual content involving minors;
• scrape the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product without our written permission;
• record or process other people's personal data without a lawful basis.

If you break these rules we may suspend or restrict your access. Where it's practical, we'll tell you why first.

9. Our property

Wuyud's software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use the service under these terms, you don't receive any rights in them. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. Early access & pricing

Wuyud is currently in early access and free to use. Early-access features can change quickly and may sometimes be unavailable. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show the price and terms before you're charged. Nothing is charged automatically on a board you already have.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Wuyud at any time and ask us to delete your boards by writing to the address below. We can suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we shut the service down. Unless something urgent prevents it, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your content. Sections 5, 9 and 12–14 continue to apply after your use ends.

12. Disclaimers

Wuyud is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Keep your own copies of anything important.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims connected with Wuyud is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) EUR 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute will be heard by the competent courts in Prague. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and can also bring a claim there. EU consumers can also use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority's out-of-court dispute resolution.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll post it here and update the date above. Where we can, we'll also tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Wuyud after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
